Chang Ge

Chang Ge is an Associate Professor at the School of Art & Design, Xi’an University of Technology, as well as a Master’s Supervisor and Deputy Director of the Department of Industrial Design and Shaanxi Province Complex Mechanical Equipment Industrial Design Center. She is also a Visiting Scholar at the Brunel University of London

She earned her PhD from the Northwest Polytechnical University, China, focusing on design management in virtual business scenarios. Her research interests include digital product innovation, inclusive design, Human Machine Interaction design, etl.

As a project leader, Dr. Ge has successfully undertaken a provincial social science fund project, two natural science fund projects from the provincial education department, a university innovation fund project, and over ten industry-funded projects. She has authored more than 30 research papers and holds over ten invention patents. Dr. Ge has also mentored students to achieve remarkable success, earning over 30 provincial-level awards in prestigious competitions such as the “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the “Challenge Cup,” the National College Student Industrial Design Competition, and the “Great Ideas” Contest. Her dedication and expertise have earned her repeated recognition as an “Outstanding Mentor.”
